( Character's Name ) : Jasdero
( Character's Age ) : 18
( Series ) : D.Gray-man (mangaverse)
( Canon Point ) : After the fight with Krory

( History ) :
http://dgrayman.wikia.com/wiki/Jasdevi#Plot (to the end of the "Noah's Ark arc" section).

( Personality ) :
Jasdero is extremely childish and playful. His mentality level is very young, though he does seem to know how to read and write. He relies on Devit to make thoughtful decisions. Being by himself is probably pretty frightening. Jasdero relies on Devit a lot, depending on him for nearly everything. While Jasdero seems capable of fighting on his own, other things are probably very difficult for him. He'd prefer to be with someone else instead of alone.

Like a child, Jasdero seems to latch onto things. He has an obsession with chickens after he and Devit found a flock, and he took one home with him. It sat on his head for awhile. While "helping" Road with homework, he latched on to the number 5, repeating it many times and scribbling it all over the dining room table.

Jasdero is the more talkative of the two. He babbles about whatever comes to mind. His sentences are often short and simple. He speaks in the third person, calling himself "Dero". He also adds "Heeee" at the end of sentences, sort of like a strange giggle. He'll talk about anything that doesn't involve a lot of comprehensive thought.

Jasdero has a rather short temper. He's very easily irritated by not being able to accomplish a mission (finding Cross, which is an impossible task anyway) and all the bills that Cross leaves for them. When angry, he tends to shout and point at things, gritting his teeth and bugging his eyes out.

Speaking of his eyes, Jasdero's are very expressive. They are very large and capable of bugging out to impossibly human size and becoming smaller and calmer. They are outlined in heavy makeup which seems to only emphasize them.

( Strengths/Weaknesses ) :
    Strengths
  • While a total idiot, Jasdero shows strong battle prowess. In the Ark, Jadero uses rather technical maneuvers with Devit against the exorcists, firing off various types of elemental attacks. He also is rather capable of trickery and deceit, using illusions to hide for a surprise attack or replacing himself with a stuffed doppelganger. While it seems like Devit is making the calls, he's listed as having a high battle ability (4/5), indicating Jasdero is probably quite capable of fighting well on his own. He is also a lot faster and stronger than he appears.

  • Jasdero's power stems from his Noah ability (an ability ingrained in his genes), which is called materialization. The power happens when the two think of what to make and it happens. He and Devit are capable of materializing elemental things like fireballs and ice but can also create giant monsters of dust and mud. They are also capable of blinding their opponents with a paint-like substance, which allows the two to move around without being noticed for an attack. While separated, the two rely on a pair of golden guns to use their abilities. Combined as Jasdevi, however, they lose the need for a medium.

  • Jasdero and Devit can merge into one Noah by shooting each other in the head with their guns. They become Jasdevi, an entity that's incredibly powerful, cunning, and sly.

  • Jasdero has the standard Noah family powers as well, being able to command akuma (demon-like creatures created from dark matter) and is immune to the blood disease they carry. He is capable of destroying Innocence (or probably any holy-based weapon) with his hands. He probably has the capability of taking on his human form (as all Noah can), but he seems to prefer to stay Noah-ish, with his gray skin and stigmata crosses on his forehead.

    Weaknesses
  • Jasdero's biggest weakness is that he's a total idiot. While 18, Jasdero seems to have the mentality of a 5 year old. His thoughts rarely seem complex or thought out. While an idiot, Jasdero has shown himself capable of reading. His math skills, however, are highly lacking. When he tried to do Road's math homework, every answer was 5.

  • Jasdero also relies a lot on his twin, Devit. He's very reliant on his twin brother, and it's wholly unknown if he's capable of surviving on his own. He generally goes along with whatever Devit says.

  • As mentioned above, Jasdero's Noah ability seems to rely on a medium. He also has to have Devit think the same thing for this power to work. It is unknown if he can Materialize on his own, but if he could, it would be incredibly difficult.

( Other Important Facts ) :
Jasdero has an extremely odd appearance. He tends to slouch all the time. The weird thing he wears on his head lights up. His mouth is stitched up in a zigzag. The reasoning is unknown, but he seems to function just fine as it is.

He also does not wear any underwear.

( Sample ) :
To say Jasdero was lost would be an understatement. Not only did he not know where he was, the idiot Noah was left to his own accord. Jasdero never separated from his brother. It was almost as if the two were joined at the hip. And yet right now, Jasdero was left to his own accord. That was bad. He'd never been without Devit before and in a place like this he didn't want to be separated.

The Noah slouched over, taking a wrapped hand to his face to chew on a finger. He'd been many places while searching for that elusive General Cross but this certainly wasn't one of them. A peaceful plaza with lots of people who seemed entirely too happy. They offered him waves and smiles and Jasdero simply stared stupidly back at them. What was their deal? Why were they so happy?

Then Jasdero noticed something so amazing he couldn't resist. Pigeons. He had to chase them. They were like chickens but fatter and could fly. They weren't as enjoyable as chasing chickens, but chasing them was still fun. "Pigeons, heeee~!" he shouted, bounding after the unsuspecting gaggle of pigeons on the plaza. The creatures were startled from their meal of left-over bread crumbs and quickly flitted away. Jasdero managed to catch one by the tail feather, but it flew off, leaving the Noah with one single gray feather.

His disappointment was quickly interrupted by the gurgling of his stomach. When was the last time he ate? He couldn't remember. Probably before the battle with that vampire Exorcist. Jasdero was still rather worn out from it. It was a long relentless battle which unfortunately he and Devit had lost. Jasdero wasn't entirely sure he was alive, but such profound thoughts were quickly fleeting.

He instead turned to go to one of the shops. It was a bakery, something that Road would very much enjoy.

"What can I get you?" the clerk asked, entirely too cheerful to help.

"Dero is hungry, but Dero has no money, heeeeee." He had no pockets either. He usually ate at family dinners, which were often far too lavish for his own tastes. But food was food, and he did like his food.

The clerk waved his hand. "Everything is free for you~"

Now there was something Jasdero could comprehend. Free. If it didn't involve getting bills, he was happy. He had enough bills after chasing General Cross. Pages and pages of bills. He'd be happy if he never saw bills again.

"Dero wants everything, heeee!!" the Noah grinned widely and excitedly.
