While Leo hadn't had but a couple of conversations with Jasdero, thinking up a prank to play on him was so easy that he couldn't resist. He managed to get a hold of several rubber chickens and tied them neck to foot, creating a scarf.
There was a good chance the guy wouldn't see it as anything other than cool. But he'd look ridiculous if he walked around wearing a rubber chicken scarf and that was enough for Leo to feel it was worth the effort.
He left the chicken scarf in a bag in front of Jasdero's door and once he was a good distance away he sends an anonymous text.
In case you get cold this week, check the bag at your door for something warm to wear.
Jasdero wasn't entirely the brightest crayon in the box (his twin was much more intelligent) and he seemed to have some sort of chicken obsession for who knows what reason.
He poked the bag with his foot for a moment and when it didn't move in response, he opened it. His large eyes seemed to bug out in surprise larger than any human should really be capable of doing. "Chain of chickens!" Totally impractical to use as anything, but it was chickens tied together. That was awesome.
